wet art: a fundraiser for the boys and girls club

olin and sander were invited to create a piece for a show of  organized by Toni Sutherland and Gigi Goldeen.

artists included David Anderson, Jim Denevan, Dave Gardner, Jimbo Phillips and many others. each artist interpreted a suit from a local professional surfer. the closing reception / auction was a blast. Olin's suit wasn't finished until the day of the event (his dad had to build a box --and he "can't use a saw"...).
Sander's suit ('Sailor John') raised $550 for the Boys and Girls Club!

Patrick Trefz directed a documentary film, edited by Jared Taber profiling each artist / surfer. A link to Sander and Olin's is below...

thanks to ms. ramer (my junior lifeguards instructor and friend) for organizing the fun-a-day art show at cafe pergolesi...one piece of art every day for the month of january...there was alot of good art. it was fun.
